Gillette Abuse Refuge Foundation

The Gillette Abuse Refuge Foundation (G.A.R.F.) is a non-profit community agency which offers free and confidential services to victims of domestic violence and sexual assault throughout Campbell County Wyoming.

The mission of the Gillette Abuse Refuge Foundation is to provide a comprehensive range of quality services to meet the needs of domestic violence and sexual assault victims, promote community awareness and provide prevention education in Campbell County Wyoming.

The Gillette Abuse Refuge Foundation is a non-profit organization which believes that violence, whether sexual, emotional or physical is used as a form of power and control over another person. We believe every person has the right to a life free from violence and abuse. Promoting these ideas, we provide shelter and non-judgmental services for victims, enabling them to affirm their own strengths and choices to live lives free of violence. Community education is provided and our belief is that awareness can lead to changes in society's attitudes concerning domestic violence and sexual assault. Through awareness of these issues, we hope to reduce society's ideas which foster violence.
